Ausgebildet am Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse in Paris tanzte Antoine Jully im Corps de ballet der Opéra National de Paris. Sein erstes festes Engagement erhielt er 1999 am Royal Ballet London, wo er für einen Workshop auch seine erste Choreographie kreierte. Von 2002 bis 2005 war er Tänzer beim Ballet d’Europe in Marseille unter Jean-Charles Gil und präsentierte dort weitere eigene Ballette. Er arbeitete als Tänzer mit Choreographen wie Jacopo Godani, William Forsythe und Martino Müller sowie als Sänger und Schauspieler. 2005 engagierte Martin Schläpfer ihn in sein ballettmainz und kreierte einige herausragende Rollen für ihn. Darüber hinaus war er u. a. in Choreographien von Regina van Berkel, Hans van Manen, Eric Oberdorff und Twyla Tharp zu erleben. Seit 2009 ist er Mitglied des Balletts am Rhein, wo er in der Spielzeit 2011/12 mit „Inside“ erstmals eine Uraufführung zeigte und mit „Rebound – Topple – Splash“ auch in der Spielzeit 2012/13 vertreten sein wird.


Trained at the Paris Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse, Antoine Jully danced in the corps de ballet of the Opéra National de Paris. He had his first firm engagement in 1999 with the Royal Ballet in London, where he also devised his first choreography for a workshop. From 2002 to 2005 he was a dancer in the Marseille Ballet d’Europe under Charles Gil, and there also he presented further works of his own. He danced for choreographers like Jacopo Godani, William Forsythe und Martino Müller, and was also active as a singer and an actor. In 2005 Martin Schläpfer engaged him for his ballettmainz and created a number of prominent rôles especially for him. He also appeared in choreographies by Regina van Berkel, Hans van Manen, Eric Oberdorff and Twyla Tharp. Since 2009 he has been a member of Ballett am Rhein, where in the 2011/12 season he offered the world première of his choreography “Inside”. In the 2012/13 season he will present his new work “Rebound – Topple – Splash”.
